A reflection on Collaboration: by Nicholas B.

One of the most important aspects of this class is learning how to come together with others, whether this means having a conversation or understanding another’s point of view. One commercial that I believe demonstrates this is Adidas’ commercial Calling All Creators. This commercial features a number of athletes, musicians and other artists sitting around a table. Each person has a desire to be a creator in his/her respective field. Though there are clear differences in each person’s background and skills, they all sit at the table together to discuss and collaborate. There are connections between each person and each person’s goals that can be explored through having a conversation. Regardless of any differences, everyone at the table is able and welcome to participate. The commercial concludes with several of the people inviting the audience into the conversation, saying, “Join us.”, and, “Let’s create.”
